Staples guarantees that the passport photos you purchase from a Staples Store will meet the U.S. Department of State’s passport photograph requirements. In the event that the passport photos you purchase from Staples are not in compliance with the U.S. Department of State’s passport photograph requirements, Staples will retake the photos free of charge. You can have your passport photos retaken free of charge by bringing:(1) your sales receipt showing proof of original passport photos purchase, dated within the last 6 months of passport photo retake request, and (2) letter from U.S. Department of State stating that your passport photo does not meet their passport photograph requirements.The individual having their photo retaken as a result of a photo retake request must be the same individual whose photo was originally taken and paid for at a Staples Store. Staples reserves the right to verify the proof of original purchase, U.S. Department of State letter, and that the individual in the original photos is the same individual having their photo retaken and may decline your request if unable to do so.Staples may suspend, terminate, update or modify this Passport Photo Acceptance Guarantee policy at any time.
