Mutual Industries Woven fabric geotextile measuring 12 1/2" x 360" is made with polypropylene fiber that is durable and used to hold soil in place as well as under gabions, rip rap or precast block.
Mutual Industries Woven fabric geotextile measuring 12 1/2" x 360" provide a rugged separation layer between aggregate and sub grade. Fabric is ideal to prolong surface life and stabilize the foundation.
- Woven geotextiles are used to hold soil in place
- Material: Polypropylene
- Grab tensile strength: 315 lbs., Grab elongation: 15%, Trapezoid tear: 120 lbs.
- Puncture: 120 lbs., Mullen burst: 600 PSI, Permittivity: 0.05 sec
- Permeability: 0.005 cm/sec, AOS: 40 US sieve, UV resistance (500 hr): 90%, water flow: 4 gpm per square feet
- They can also be used under rip rap, gabions or precast block
- Woven geotextiles area time and money saving alternative to traditional methods using graded aggregate or sand filters
