The Plugable USB-MC1 USB charging adapter enhances the charging of Smart phones and tablets, when connected to the USB ports. This adapter draws 100mA of current from the host computer instead of the optimal 1A. The portable adapter allows you to charge your device even when the computer is in sleep mode. This adapter can change any powered USB port with the 1A capability into a universal charging port and prevents juice jacking of your device at public charging stations.
