Goodbye Coil Burners
Great replacement for old fashioned coil burners!! Good looking, easy to clean and they are much easier to control the heat, no hot or cold spots. If they heat slower than coil burners it’s not noticeable to me. Great product!

clever idea, but can't even boil water properly
These things are built really well and look fantastic. they are dead flat and with the correct rings installed fit my GE stove perfectly.
they have two issues that made me return them almost immediately. first isn't a fatal flaw, but they are so massive with so much cast iron, that they are extremely slow to heat and cool. after use, they are too hot to touch half an ho...

Slow and uneven heat, but better than coils!
I'm not sure if the replacement open coil elements that I got for the stove in my new house weren't the right ones or what, but they moved around and rattled way too much. I hated them, even though they gave better and more even heat than these SmartBurner elements. I'd much rather have a nice stable and easy to clean surface though, and I can put up with slightly longe...

So much better than coils. Cheaper here at Staples with free delivery. Pioneer website more expensive and they wanted 20.00 or more for shipping
