Black ink
i haven't installed the ink cartridge just yet, but if you are reading this review you know what you're looking for already. To the best of my knowledge, this only works with the Epson 7900 & 9900. You're not going to spend that kind of money and not know about the ink, right?

Epson 642 yellow UltraChrome HDR ink
There is only one way to be assured of correct profile colors and other qualities found in Epson ink and that is to use Epson ink. There are cheap alternatives but you will not get the same results. Other inks require new profiles for each cartridge installed. I can't imagine having to do that to get uniformity throughout all printing.
