I found this holder to not have enough tension on the arm to allow me to rip off one sheet at a time.

Water spots on base
Tension works great at holding the paper towel so you get one but the water spots on the base drive me crazy! I am not sure how to clean them off.

Pleasantly surprised
I purchased this towel holder with the idea that it would be a waste of money and not that useful, but I was wrong, I love it. It’s pricey though and I would purchase a second one if not for the price.
