My favorite learning tool so far!
We use this for preschool learning. It has multiple activities which my daughter loves. It can be used as free play or structured learning. It also makes teaching my daughter easy and fun.

I would not buy this again.
Would have been a great product if it came with enough owls to stack on all the numbers at a time. The daycare children were disappointed they couldn't finish it. It was our fault for not looking at how many pieces were included. Would have been better if it was just for numbers 1-6. We have many of your products but this is the 1st the children were disappointed with.

Needs more owls and Cards 6 to 10
I'm quite disappointed that there are not enough owls to simultaneously complete stacking the owls from 1 to 10. There are only enough to count up to 6 with a few left over. The other disappointment was the cards included only go up to 5. This is a counting toy from 1 to 10 so it needs to be revisited and the necessary adjustments need to be made. I read quite a few rev...

Great product, not enough owls
This is a wonderful toy which will serve us many different ways during the upcoming preschool year. I chose it because many of our room decorations are owls. I am disappointed that not enough owls come with it for a child to fill all the spots on the branch with the correct number of owls. I realize this could be cost prohibitive, but it would be nice to have the option...

Need more owls!
I was excited to use this set with my son! Sadly, we realized there are not enough owls to complete the numbers on the branch.
Learning Resources, please sell the owl seprarately, or include them future sets.

Not Enough Owls
I am a teacher in a special education classroom. There are not enough owls to stack the correct number of objects above each digit. Each game should have enough owls so students can see how each larger digit has one more owl than the previous digit.

Don't waste your money
The item only has enough owls to do 6 full stacks and 2 or 3 in the 7, which is useless if I want to teach my child to count to 10! Completely defeats the purpose of the toy!
Also, the design is flimsy...

Unsatisfied
Unsatisfied. There are not enough owls to construct numbers 1-10 so 3 year old can actually see that as numbers move to the right or left they increase or decrease by one. Also the set of cards should have included cards for all numbers 1-10 and a few others to fill in missing numbers (these are included. When my 3 and 4 year olds spin and take turns constructed their t...

NOT ENOUGH OWLS TO COMPLETE THE SET!!!!
I had a student in my class have a COMPLETE MELTDOWN because there weren't enough owls to complete the set. She was stacking the owls and using one to one correspondence when counting. By the time she was on number 7 there were no more owls left. Poor design in my opinion (if you want kids to count properly).

Cute and colorful owls help with math.
The cute, colorful owls caught our attention right away. We started to freeplay instead of following the activity cards. The activity cards would add
More structure to the activity. the set makes it easy to make play time more educational. It is easy to visualize patterning, sequencing, numbers, addition, and more with these owls.

Lots of ways to play!
This is an ideal product to use when kids are just beginning to get interested in identifying colors and counting objects. This set helps them understand that numbers relate to quantities. And it lends itself well to creating patterns (like green, blue, green, blue), which is a premath skill relating to order and prediction. As children develop math skills, the 1-10 Cou...

Bright, Adorable, Fun! Great for numbers practice!
When I brought home the Counting Owls activity set, both my girls ages 2 and 3.5 immediately studied the box. The packaging is creative, colorful and descriptive. I found these especially helpful for my 3.5 year old who is just learning her numbers and how to count. While we didn't "play by the rules," we did have a lot of fun at the kitchen table stacking, sorting and ...

Bright colorful and fun
The toy was packaged nicely in a very sturdy box and it was easy to open and close. Perfect for tidy storage. I was pleased to find that in the instructions there were several different ways to play. The best thing about this toy is the various ways to play will lead to it being a toy that can grow with my daughters. Certainly it will be a while before she can the addin...

Cute and entertaining
This is a very cute and colorful counting game. I couldn't really make heads or tails of the directions but we came up with our own ideas and it worked. I played it with older 3 year olds and they got the concept, however there are not enough owls in the package to complete the whole counting game. You can go up to 6 or 7 but then have to take it down to continue on to ...

Fun, engaging, educational opportunities, but does definitely need adult involvement to take full advantage of learning activities as set forth in the Activity Guide.

Great activity set for my preschoolers!
I ordered 1-10 Counting Owls and love this activity set. It comes in a strong box that is perfect to store in my closet when the game is not in use. This set comes with a long list of activities that are very easy to understand. My kids love the games and they also love to just explore the pieces on their own. I love it when they play their own pattern games with their ...

Cute counting set with many open ended play options
My daughter is a young 3 and she immediately started stacking the owls, sorting them, and arranging them on the base. It's a really cute, colorful set with adorable activity cards and spinner. Vibrant Colors & Cute
This is a high quality, sturdy set. The colors are bright and fun, and the activities help with basic sensory skills. The owls have a very snug fit, which promotes fine motor skills. This is a nice way to help assist in teaching colors, counting, and even patterning. The only drawback was the cardboard spinner was a little bent, but after a few spins, it worked ok! The ...

Fun!
My daughter enjoyed the owls in the Counting Owls Activity Set. She already knew her colors well, so she was able to make patterns with the owls using what she knew. We had fun counting the owls as we added them onto the number bar. The one problem we had was that the spinner did not work well.
