Works as it's supposed to
I needed a new surge protector after an ancient one gave up the ghost. A Staples' employee, Brian, listened to what my needs for a new one were and advised that this one would work well. So far it has.

Not compatible for Mac computer or brother laser printer.
Isn't compatible for Mac computer or brother printer. Computer make buzzing noise when plugged in the adapter. Printer continues to turn off and on when plugged in the extension adapter.

Works great especially the plug at right-angle not jutting out, and the length of the cord, hides perfectly under the desk so that I am not stepping over it.

The 6 outlet works. My oonly concern is that is is made in CHINA and I hope not in a Uyger slave factory.

Does the job
I needed a multi-plug unit and the surge protection is a bonus (note: it is very low level). This one has an eight-foot cord, which is longer than most, and a flat plug, which is nice behind my bookcase.

Our unit has an emergency outlet for those times we go on generator. I selected the NXT device because it had an appropriate length and provides surge protection.

Love the 8 foot cord.
The six outlets allow me to plug in several devices. With the 8 foot cord I can move the protector to places that a 3 or 4 foot cord cannot reach.
