A fraud and total waste of money
Asurion does not provide boxes for shipping to Asurion for repair. The manufacturers also do not sell shipping boxes. You can't store a large product box with its rigid foam pieces. So it is impossible to ship to Asurion to get repairs.
Also, Asurion does not promise how long it will take for repair and if Asurion cannot obtain a replacement unit you will not be able...

waste of money
Asurion- finds all sorts of ways to deny you coverage. Sent in a printer for repair- returned not repaired. now they say the item is not covered?? transferred- at least 5 times- each dept says not us.

Tech to the Rescue
We opened our printer over the weekend when Epson tech is unavailable. Called Protection & Tech Help with 24/7 service and Basil spent over 2 1/2 hours guiding us techno troglodytes through the entire set up. He was patient and ever so courteous.

I canceled the order because Staples could not deliver the printer on the date offered when I ordered it. Had I kept this plan, I would have no basis to judge its value or quality for a year or two, and then, only if the printer failed.
I bought the printer and this warranty as a gift. I don’t ordinarily go for these extended service plans.
