We love Artie!
We love Artie! My daughters have one, I purchased one for my nephew in August and this one was for my niece who just turned 8. She loves her Artie, and has been using the pre-programmed codes as she becomes more comfortable with the coding programs. She'll probably use the remote control coding tool next. I love that she can grow with this coding robot.

The kids love it and my dad loves it more.
Truth be told I bought this for my dad! He's a Lockheed Martin programmer and it is such a fun way for him to spend time with my nieces and nephews teaching them about this valuable content. It's become a like a pet. They are learning and watching what they do in code become the actions of Artie. Haven't quite looked into whether we can create our own images yet, but th...

Had WiFi Issues but Company Helped Fix It
If you are having connectivity issues like we were, contact the company or go to Artie 3000's website. They have a new firmware update that was easy to install. The customer service team was super helpful in walking me through the update because I'm not techy at all but it was easy to do.

No easy to use or update
The instructions are not easy to follow. The firmware is definitely not easy to do. No response from the email or message I sent for some insight.

This poorly executed toy is not worth your time or money.
We returned the 1st, as the wifi would not show up at all or disconnect within seconds. The second, we learned there was a firmware update. I cannot use MAC or Chromebook to update. Simply a poorly designed, Windows only, toy that will disappoint.

I would buy this product again.
Our granddaughter and son have had a blast working together with Artie. It is very challenging at times.

It's not working for us...daughter crazy frustrated
We've sat down 2 nights and have cried/been frustrated with how hard this is to set up and make a move. She now HATES coding-yay...just what mom wanted....several Steps skipped. Unless you're a natural born coder or know how to help the less genius brain...

Excited to use it with my primary students K-3
Very simple to set up and connect to an iPad mini, iPad Pro, and laptop. Students immediately acclimated to the Artie interface and began creating and coming up with a vision of what they wanted it to draw. Super engaging.

Easy to Use Multipurpose Robot
Artie is an excellent way to teach students how to code and program. This robot draws lines, which is a perfect way to practice creating shapes, patterns, letters and more. This can be used from lower elementary into high school! Students in upper grade levels can aim to create shapes with specific angles , areas, perimeters. The possibilities seem endless! I love this ...

Students loved Artie!
I introduced Artie to my third grade class. In small groups we used the cards that took us through coding step by step. The students loved it! They thought it was "cool", "fun", and "awesome". They also described Artie as cute and asked when we could use him again. I am looking forward to allowing the students to explore more coding with Artie on their own.

Great product!
I used Artie in my 2nd grade classroom. The students loved doing the preprogrammed designs, but were also excited to create their own. Students with coding experience found it easier. The process was easy for them to follow and the pens were easy to switch in and out. The only problem they found was that the paper moved under Artie at times, skewing the lines. Once they...

Artie in the classroom
What a fun way to introduce coding to students!! Students love to figure out the newest tech gadgets, and they usually do it faster than me. So, this was a perfect way to get them interested in coding. They enjoyed following the enclosed programs and now look forward to trying out their own designs. It's a great way to have them see the efforts of trial and error, and t...

Students Love Artie
Artie is very easy to set up and get started. I like that there are pre-programmed codes for creating things. If you are new to coding you can create different images without having to create your own code. As you become more familiar with coding you can create your own. This makes it user friendly for the less experienced and the very experienced. My third graders were...

So much fun!
Artie is so much fun! I used him in my classroom because my students love coding. We made shapes, artwork, and fun games. One of my students immediately said Artie was being added to his Christmas list. Recommend for any teacher or parent!

Artie in the classroom
It's a great tool in a classroom for 1 - 2 students to work together to code and/or problem solve. I can see it being used more with the students who need to be challenged in the grades K-4. My 6 year old enjoyed using it alone at home. The codes that are already created helped him see how to code. My 8 year old was more curious about creating her own codes . As a teach...
