Best deal of 2022
I3-1220p is a 2p+8e 10 core power house, even better than the 11th gen i5. Please fill the empty slot with a 8Gb DDR4 3200MHz Ram, then you have a 280 dollar computer capable doing anything from school work to programming. Best laptop deal of this year. Not for people want a quality screen though.

Slowest thing I've used in decades

At first glance, it seems like a good deal and a decent laptop. I don't need anything fancy, but I could barely browse the internet right out of the box. Super disappointing.

The laptop itself works fine but the touch pad to move the cursor is way too sensitive to the point we disabled the touchpad and purchased a Bluetooth mouse.

I bought this when in a hurry and just picked the cheapest one.
I use it with subscription software and my cloud storage - I am not really trying to challenge it with engineering software, watching movies, a second video display, and the like.
FWIW the longest I've used this laptop on just battery power is about 5 hours and the little battery...

Slow...Some of the functions I used to be able to do with the push of a key I now have use 2 steps. UGH.. Especially saving pics and now I can't even see the pictures. I have to first OPEN the icon.

Works much better than its 4GB of memory would suggest. The display is dim at the highest setting and the Microsoft supplied desktop images have paper edges. The Graphics adapter is NOT the Iris Xe but is the Intel imbedded UHD adapter with max resolution limited to to 1920x1080. I'm not sure how one verified buyer was able to connect to an external display via HDMI ...

Fast and quiet
I'm using this essentially as a desktop, hooked to an external monitor via HDMI, with external keyboard and mouse. So I'm not using the screen, keyboard, trackpad etc, though I did when first firing it up and they all worked fine. Though the memory is only 4GB, it did fine when doing browsing and running Citrix, though was usually at or over 90% usage. I added a 16GB PC...
