I found it difficult to install, and had cable company help via phone. Now that it is installed, I don't see any improvement in my service. I thought Arris unit would allow for more speed.

Not so fast
Bought this to replace my 9 year old surfboard that peaked out at 43kb on Xfinity. I haven't run a speed test yet but I don't see any big difference in streaming Netflix. Setup was easy >once< you get through to a human at Xfinity. Give them the info on the sticker and in a few minutes you're good to go
