OMG
I purchased this item to use in different ways such as n air freshener spray I put them in my candle warmer and I put them in little cloth bags and placed them through out my house and drawers and walk in closet.

Product messed up washing machine and dryer!!
Used this product one time. Messed up the washing machine, it took 10 minutes to clean undissolved particles from the machine. when placing in dryer some particles were still in clothing. MELTED all in drum to the point you had to scrape off drum. NO way will I use Downy products again. Have no faith in them!

Changed Scent
I used to love April Fresh. They must have changed their formula sometime this year, because now it smells pretty bad. Very sharp and almost sour. I’m very sad and looking for a new scent!

Weird scent toward end of note
I haven't used Downy April Fresh in years. It used to be my favorite but there was a change to the formula and I tried others. I decided to give it another go as I was tired of my current scent and bought these beads. Wow, they actually smell bad. I can't describe it, but it's toward the end of the scent, it's sort of sweet and sour, it's definitely not fresh.

Worth the price!
I love these odor defense beads! My bedding still smells wonderful 1 week after using. Socks still smell fresh at the end of the day. Using them for my washable curtains. Now we just need an odor defense scented Fabreeze as strong as the beads for items we can't wash in a machine.

Gasoline fumes get nutralized
Just wash twice after gasolune fumes dry out of laundry then add a cup full of Downey

Turned my new white towels pink.
I do not recommend this product. Turned my lovely new white towels pink. I am trying to bleach them back but other reviews say it doesn’t work. Tossing out this product.

Downy doesn't even know how to use these...
Online Downy states that these work in either the washer or dryer but the label on the bottle clearly states not to be used in the dryer. Good thing I read the label and not just the information on your website or I would have ruined my dryer!!

Fresh Protect Stained Clothing
I used to love this product, but after I took out my laundry today, I was shocked to find what looked like bleach stains on my clothes. I don't use bleach, nor does anyone in my household, so I know it was the fresh protect beads. These beads RUINED one of my favorite shirts. I will never use this product again, and neither should you unless you want to risk permanently...

I love it.
I wish I could find this product in all the retail and grocery stores. Of all places I thought Walmart would carry it. I can find the April Fresh. The Active Fresh is neutral. Does not smell toogirly. I have makes in my house hold and it really helps with their athletic and work clothes! Just wish it was a little for the unstoppables. I think they are over priced.

Product stained all of my clothes
This was my first time using this product and I did as the bottle instructed. The product was placed in the washer first and then my clothes went in. I have large pink spotted stains on some of my shirts and all of my whites are now pink. This is completely unacceptable and I will not be using this product again.

Sometimes change is not better ?
I have been using the Downy fresh protect for a while now, but my newest purchase of fresh protect odor defense,30.3 OZ.......... ,well it seems you have changed the formulation of the product and it is not as effective. I am taking it back ! The former product met my needs and kept my uniforms nice in the work I do . It does not now.

The beads DONT dissolve!!
I Love the smell of this product but it won’t dissolve!! Even when washing in warm water I end up having to wash the same load 2-3 times because there are still the same amount of beads I started with, it’s not just a few. Super disappointed in this product.

Turned my whites pink.
I've used and am a fan of the Downy Fresh Boost (Green) pellets. However the pink April Fresh pellets turned my load of whites light pink. I've tried everything, the dye isn't coming out. Very disappointed, particularly because the container says that the product is safe for all fabrics, machines and wash cycles.

Love the scent. I usually hate anything with fragrance, but this is a very light clean scent best for my gymwear. I tested Downy Fresh Protect Beads for free from Influenster, but all opinions are my own.

This product has a great fragrance.
Love downy protect odor shield, it protected my clothes and kids of bad odor....i would definitely buy this product again because it worked for me...i recommend this product.. i tested Downy Fresh Protect beads for free, but all opinions are my own.

Great at first
I washed several different loads with the Downey beads. They smell great and the laundry smelled good but it didn't last long. I had hoped these would be great for things like linens and towels that can sometimes sit before being used. The laundry smelled great when it first was washed, but the scent fades quickly. I can't say that they lasted any longer than my deterge...

Im a #DownyLover! Great scent, no residue!
I was a little afraid to try these, because other similar products I've used in the past, don't "melt" in my HE washer, but this did NOT disappoint! Great scent!
I really enjoyed these! The scent was perfect and not overpowering in any way. I used it on my sweaty gym clothes and they came out smelling fantastic. I could still smell it during my next workout. I received these for free to test from Influenster, if I had a coupon I would definitely purchase.
