Directions are spotty and incomplete. Too much trial and error involved. Will be buying someone else's 1099 software next tax season.

Every tax season I go to Staples to get my 1099 NEC forms because they always have them. Also, if I am having trouble finding an item there is always someone willing to help me.

Disappointed
Spent more to get the kit that included access to the online software but I would have been better handwriting the forms. I could not get the forms to line up with the printing, even using the features provided to move things up or down. When I finally got them sort of lined up enough to print, the forms didn't fit well into the envelopes. I ended up hand cutting a s...

Sure beats handwriting the information. Used them last year, have the same comment. not a lot of valuable instruction. Could not print the 1096. Those instructions were not written for these 1096's. Like I said better than hand writing them! 1096 I did handwrite.

Simple 1099-NEC solutions for small business owner

convenient but pricey
First time giving a 1099 and had to go to staples and not allowed to print from home (says IRS). I only have one person to give the 1099 to so there is allot of waste and I will only be able to use 4 times instead of the total listed on the package.

This program is not easy to use. I am not computer illiterate, but I had to look up how to do everything. There are no instructions other than how to get into the program. I did get one set of 1099's run and have another to do. I pray it goes easier than the first set!
