Defective
The left needle thread breaks. There is so much resistance. I’ve adjusted the tension wheel both ways and the resistance is still the same. The right needle thread appears to be fine. I just received this serger a week ago and cannot use it because of this issue.

Great Machine, Documentation Seriously Lacking
Fantastic price for air threading technology! I have been using this serger for a couple of months (as someone who barely used a very old 1980’s serger before) and my only complaint is the lack of adequate user documentation, especially for those new to serging - for example, how to remove or replace the needles, and how to remove the threads that come left on the machi...

It’s a No-Brainer!
What a vast improvement to have air threading technology after using a very old Bernette! Threading was a night on the Bernette and eventually it would not form stitches at all. Defective

Incredible machine!
I just opened my new air 1800 and I just love the machine. I was able to start sewing in less than 15 minutes! And that was reading the manual and threading, simply amazing! I would recommend this machine to anyone, especially those who are experienced sewists!

Amazing Serger!
I was so excited to get this serger as I've wanted one for so long! It is surprisingly easy to thread (the thing I was most worried about) and it works so smoothly. It took a little bit of play time to figure out the tension, but once I got that, all systems were go and I can serge blankets in no time! Highly recommended!

Awesome!
I’m kind of new to sewing and the Brother AIR1800 3/4 Thread Air Serger is so easy to use. I’m making pillows for a craft show and was able to make 100 pillows in one night. It cuts while you sew. Saved me so much time. I love how it threads it’s so awesome. It’s so easy to use. I highly recommend this machine. New to sewing or a expert you will enjoy using it.

Love this machine!
When I first got this serger sewing machine, to say I was a little intimidated by it; would be putting it mildly.
I didn't even open the box for the first few days.

Love Air Threading!
This machine was pretty simple and straightforward to thread all four needles, especially with the air threading feature that this machine has. I was able to get it out of the box and setup in about an hour using the links to the online videos. I like the compact size of this serger also, and mighty machine in a small package.

So easy to use! Great for a beginner!
This has got to be one of the easiest to use servers I've ever tried out. To be fair I don't have a ton of experience as I've only dabbled with sewing as a passing hobby. But I am thankful to have the opportunity to try Brothers Air1800 with automatic threading! Amazing machine
Recently upgrading to this machine and I love using it. It love how easy it is to create high quality stitches and finishes. Definitely reocommend getting this as it’s easy to learn, set up and to use.

Great Machine!
This is a great machine for beginners! Easy to use and easy to set up anywhere, whether you have a dedicated space or just a small area in a room this machine is for you. Extremely easy to learn and start a new hobby with!

Love it
This is a powerhouse! Only ever used a regular machine. Thought this was for designers only. Its AWESOME!! Threading the 4 spools was super easy. The cutter works great and its so much quieter than my old machine! Can't wait to discover all that it can do.

Better then expected
I recently began sewing again after years. This sewing machine makes it so easy and effortless to thread and sew. It’s small and easy to move. It helped bring life back into a hobby I thought was gone forever.

It’s great! Even for a beginner
It’s great! Even for a beginner like me, I was able to set it up and watch videos on how to use it. It’s definitely much larger of a machine than I expected, and not the traditional one I’m used to, but it works and is very fast/powerful

Works great
There is a lot you can do with this machine. The setup was extremely easy and the instructions easy to follow. Seems sturdily built and definitely a quality product. Still learning more about my Serger but the easy threading sure is wonderful.

Great little machine for beginners
This machine is great for beginners. Comes assembled and already pre threaded. For me since I am new to this it is still a bit confusing for me especially trying to put thread back into the automatic thread feeder but I am getting the hang of it. It threads really fast. Awesome features
I love love love this Air Serger Machine!!! It makes light work of my sewing needs. I am able to finish my orders with ease and it’s soooo easy to rethread. I love how fast and precise the machine works and it’s very easy to learn on!
