Convenient, high quality portable speaker
This is a great portable speaker. The audio sounds way better than it should for a speaker of its size. The Auto Trueplay helps too. The battery life is great, but managing the battery is a bit awkward (have to open the app to check it, and there's no way to limit battery charging to extend the life). Questionable Quality
I bought one of these and liked it enough to purchase a second to make a stereo pair. The first one died just out of warranty - so I bought a third one. Then the second one died just out of warranty. The third one is not quite one year old yet and still under warranty but I am not holding my breath.

Fantastic Sound and Connectivity
Amazing speaker for placing in other rooms, or taking out and about, like in the garden.

Portable small speaker to take any where.
Grab and go product to take anywhere. I travel with it as well with the Bluetooth capabilities.

It's just Okay!
Very hard to connect for the first, needs to be user friendly. Couldn't imagine gifting this to a senior community member. Total nightmare

I would buy this product again.
I bought it primarily to use in my car, as my in car CD player does not work anymore. This was the cheapest way to listen to my music from my phone.

Don't bother
I confess I was looking only for a decent bluetooth speaker, not all of the hullabaloo, but okay, there's an app,etc. But now it won't connect and it wants me to reboot my router, which I do on occasion, actually did it the other day, which may be why the unit is not connected now, but c'mon, I have to reboot my router because your sorry speaker can't find the network? ...

I wouldn't buy this product again
Real problems trying to get connected to this product, after 3hrs of trying I gave up & took product back to store for a refund & bought another brand instead

New Sonos App Has Removed Key Features
This is tough, I am a satisfied Sonos user for years with multiple products. While the speakers are great, they need the Sonos App to operate them, without a solid App the speakers are unusable. The latest App released May 2024 is a disaster and makes my current Sonos system useless. I will not buy from Sonos until the App is fixed.

Portable speaker for en-suite and garden. Great device, but having issues with the AirPlay function when in HomeKit and also not showing up in the Sonos app.

Do not buy… brick after 1 year
I recieved the roam as a gift a little over a year ago and it has not stood the test of time. I love Sonos, but this is definitely not their easiest to use product and I would expect more longevity for the price.

I had a lot difficulty using the app on my phone.
The app on my phone was unable recognize my WiFi. The follow up instructions via the app were not helpful despite rebooting the WiFi and reinstalling the app. I've had many other brands of speakers, but so difficult to start using. Your folded paper instructions in the box app troubleshooting should be better.

Good speaker - useless portable.
Speaker sounds good. Setup is awful and continues so. Roam drops in and out of system on app. Needs frequent factory resets. Can't be configured when away from base wifi system. No access to bluetooth before wifi config. As a portable, it fails - can't risk taking it away from home base. After 2 weeks, still can't keep it reliably recognised.

App Changes
Recent app update took the search feature away for the music library. Now I have more than half a dozen of these boxes sitting around and all I can do is listen to online radio.

Avoid - If battery runs out, stops working
So I'm on my third Roam. While the device has good sound and most of the time it sits on the base charger and is fine. When I take it away, the two times the battery has run out (which one would expect this to happen when you take it out and about) then the device doesn't restart.
