Fun learning game
I received this item in exchange of an honest review.
As a parent, I really like the Sound Sorting Shark activity. It makes practicing letter sounds feel like a game instead of homework. My child was excited to 'feed' the shark the right words, and it kept her attention the whole time. I noticed she was recognizing sounds faster and gaining more confidence with her re...

This item could have been more interesting
This item could have been more entertaining/interactive by making the actual noises , my child didn't take much interest to it besides trying to match the colors to the card into the colors of each item other than that he didn't seem into it anymore I'm pretty sure if it had sound he would have loved it .

Educational
This game is very educational. The downside is the small font so it's hard to tell the symbol above the vowels. I wish that part was digital so it can be easily changed rather that switching out cards.

Great Game
Great and educational game. It is a little difficult to understand at first, but once you learn how to play it, it becomes pretty fun. My 5 year old really liked to play with it. My 3 year olds still had some difficult learning it

Sorting Sharks was a challenge for me to set up so we all learned something however , I wish this game was called sorting Shark. One shark with settings . That can be changed. This is a great game and made learning fun. Right now now we are learning sounds and she seems to like this is a great for home schooling children. Will looking into more of these products.

Definitely a need in my child's learning!
When I first saw the box It made me think that the sharks made sounds but unfortunately they do not. I feel that if the sharks had been a bit more interactive, this product would of been better.( I received this product free in exchange for my review).

I would buy this product for sure
I got it for free, my 5 years old child loved it... It is easy to understand, instructions are clear, it really helps to learn reading specially with the picture included, and learn how to pronounce.

My 3 year old loved this product
This is a great product my son loved it, I wish it was electronic I think my son would have enjoyed it more. But overall my son loved it, I just have to be careful of losing the pieces, other than that it's a cool project.

Great for early literacy aid
Thank you Learning Resources for the free Say-a-sound sorting sharks! I actually received the product damaged with the box completely open on one side. Besides the delivery issue, my children and I have been having a blast with the game. I like how easy or hard you can make it depending on the age and children and their own separate development. From a kindergartener, 3...

Great no screens educational activity
Overall, this is a great basic learning activity that doesn't involve screens! I have a 4 year old at home that is learning his sounds and this is a great activity that we can do together that helps him identify sounds in words. I love that the cards each have words and pictures so my child is able to sort through the cards himself. My main issue with this activity is t...

Cool multituse
I used this product with my four year old and it was very interactive. We worked together. However, I do think the cards are a bit small. Though, my child didnt use it for its sole purpose of phonics, we used it for alphabet recognition, which was great. I will continue to use it for that and further activities as he progresses.
