ENERGEL RTX American Flag pens
These were for a gift for a friend and they love the Energel pens. They were on sale, so the price was better than usual.

Do not buy these pens. I literally can't used half of them because they do not work and they leak. I have kept the pens in the container they came in and the bottom of the container is a mess of leaked ink. Plus the pens are covered in ink that I cannot remove so them my hands are covered in ink. I reached out to Pentel and I only got 4 pens and none of those pens even...

Best Pens Ever

I love Japanese Innovation in Writing Instruments!

Great Pen!!
Pentel has always produced a fine gel pen and this one is no exception. The Stars and Stripes caught my eye because I am very aware of Nike recently pulling a Stars and Stripes pair of tennis shoes as being "offensive" - my chance to show my support for the flag and get a great pen at the same time.

Easy to hold but...
many of the patriotic pens fly apart the 2nd-3rd time I click it. the top flies away the middle 1/8" piece vanishes. After 4 packs I now use clear Scotch tape & wrap together tightly & securely intact pen! [once it flies apart no taping & gripping kept them together) The black set also writes wonderfully smooth & dark & so far stays together!
