Staples should carry Ampad Gold Fibre paper pads in their stores!
Much better quality than any of the other paper pads that Staples sells under their own name and others. The sheets tear cleanly, the wrap at the top of the pad doesn’t peel up, and the backing is stiffer. The paper quality is probably about the same. Expensive for nothing special paper
Nothing special about this paper. It is not flimsy, but expensive for paper.

Favorite paper for our office. Pages tear off neatly, and the line spacing (slightly narrow) is perfect for normal handwriting.

As expected
The package arrived in due time, so that's always a plus. The packet came in bulk and in good quality. It serves well for daily use in the office.
The paper quality is better than what I expected. It's not the recycled type so it's sturdy. The whiteness of the paper is bright and the lines are really crisp, so it helps with the writing. I'm not giving a full five star...

excellent paper, little bleed though
Excellent quality paper. these used to be made here, a bit disappointed they are produced in mexico. The only problem with them is the tear off is a bit rough. Not as smooth tear off as other pads.

Good choice for a hard-to-find style
This pad is one of only two that Staples carries with letter-size, white, college-ruled pages. It is the less expensive of the two brands, but is a fine choice for a notepad. Highly recommended if you do not want a legal-size pad in yellow, or a wide-ruled pad.

Excellent Quality
Excellent paper which lasts in long-term storage without deterioration. I look for quality and the smooth surface makes writing a joy. I used the Ampad product in my work and now my daughter, an attorney, uses it.

NOT narrow rules
These pads, while of nice quality & heavy paper, are NOT narrow ruled. They are ruled wider than the narrow ruled I previously ordered (2 different brands). They are less wide than the standard ruled paper. I will not be ordering these again. I think it is misleading to describe them as narrow ruled. My narrow ruled pad has 38 lines on it; this "narrow ruled" pad has 33...

This product meets all of our needs to a T - narrow-ruled, bound top. It is pricey though.

The Gold Standard
This is the best writing surface for me. There is never a bleed through; the paper is robust in the hand and separates cleanly from the pad.

Great Paper
These notepads are very high quality, I rarely buy anything else. The paper is very thick and provides an excellent writing surface. The perforations always tear cleanly, meaning the notepad always has a very tidy appearance.

A definite buy!
These are great - no bleed through from my pens. The paper is heavy enough to stand up to the abuse we give it. The hard backing means I can forget about a clip board. The pages tear off cleanly.
We can't find these in the store anymore, which is a real shame because these are way better than the products in the store.
