We purchased this for the first grade classroom. It gets a lot of daily use and is holding up well.

DO NOT BUY THIS SHARPENER!!!!
I bought this sharpener a few years ago. It worked great for about a year and a half and then it quickly lost it's sharpness until it just would not sharpen a pencil no matter how long you let it run. Keep in mind that I sharpen only about 4 pencils a month. Maybe the sharpener got bored due to the lack of work and quit without giving me notice! I think I emptied th...

Sharpens every brand of pencil I have
I had never had an electric sharpener but had been looking for something that could handle any brand I have. This sharpener even does Albrecht Durer pencils by Faber Castell. That is a thick pencil. It’s a big one!
I ordered this pencil sharpener and the picture looked like what I needed. When I opened the box, it is huge. But it does a great job. I really like that it can handle all sizes of pencils.

It's HUGE!!
I'm sure this would have been a great sharpener. However we returned it. It was far more than we needed. And the price (not that it was bad) just couldn't be justified for the amount of use it would get.

Great Sharpener
We have had for a few weeks and multiple school staff have commented how they liked the auto shut off and how sharp the pencils are.

2nd one works well
So the school bought 20 of these and I took one. The first one I had the sensor to shut off the motor break within 5 minutes of use. This is the 2nd one that I received through the warranty program. So far it works well.

Not worth the money
The sharpener only sharpens one side of the pencil and the reverse side is all wood left all the way up to the tip. Very unsatisfied with this purchase and would not recommend to anyone else looking for a home office pencil sharpener.

Great Classroom Sharpener!
I owned the same sharpener for the last 5 years and sharpened thousands of pencils with it. This year, I pushed it to it's limit and burned the motor out.
