work fine
refills are great better than throwing plastic pens in the garbage when the ink runs out but the refills should be less expensive than the pens themselves.

The Fine Point
In this world of disposable pens I am so happy that refills are available allowing me to keep using my favorite writing instruments. The Pilot Dr. Grip fine point are great give a clear crisp line and I like having a choice of colors. Thank you Staples!

perfect fit for my Pilot
Being the proud owner of a Pilot Dr. Grip Papermate pen I write a lot and from time to time need a refill. They are not easy available everywhere but Staples did have them in blue and black and affordable. Great quality fast service good price.

Ink does not smear
I love the feel of the Dr. Grip pens but unfortunately with the medium 1.0 size tips the ink tends to smear. And I hate that. So I'm now using these Fine tip refills. Now the ink doesn't smear though not perfect for writing on all sorts of paper.

Pen refill was too short.
My Grosse Point Michigan store kindly ordered this as a refill for a pen I had. Unfortunately while it was slim enough to slide into the pen it was too short. So you carry them longer? Sorry I hit the wrong button so was unable to chat about this.

It dosen't fit my pen
I have to return it to the store so I can find a refill that actually fit my pen. I love my pen and I hope tp find a refil that fits it. I'm sad it dosen't fit my favorite pen.

Utility of these refills.....
....is in that minor cutting/shortening required for fitting in most retractable ball point pens. Ink supply is acceptably more than original stems.

Prefer the fine point
I've had my Dr. Grip pen for awhile now. It's very comfortable to use. I had a medium point before and ordered this fine point to replace it. Much prefer the fine point for bookkeeping.
