Integral mask component
Pipe cleaners help allow mask wearers to shape the mask to their nose and fit more snuggly. I used about 100 for the masks I've sewn and donated with rest (3900) to Sew Masks 4 Cincy so our group can supply frontline responders. Thank you Staples for a quality product at an amazing price (1000 for $19.79). Plus coupons and free shipping offers were huge!!!

Making flowers in the snow
The kids have been having a wonderful time making flowers and other projects from pipe cleaners and tissue - it may be a while until we see flowers coming up from the ground but our classrooms look like Spring!

New Use for Pipe Cleaners!
This pandemic brought on a need for face masks for the members of my family. Of course, I couldn’t stop at making just one for each person!
I loved using these pipe cleaners as the wire inside the mask that goes across the nose! Worked perfectly and my family loves them!

Regular stems
I Purchased these as a last resort for making face mask. I had to improvise and bend it in half and twisted in order to make it work. It would not be my first choice of material.

Not good for cleaning
I bought these to clean tight places such as crevices on decorative pillows and narrow areas of my bicycle. They are too flimsy for this purpose.

Perfect
Using these to make some cloth masks. They are hard to find right now. I did not expect them at Staples. Lovely surprise from google search. They arrived quickly packed inside a box and then with air cushions inside another box. They were left at the front door in a stand up position requiring the least bending. The delivery person was great and did not sit on the doorb...

Quantity and delivery excellent
I was expecting a long, long delay on this order and when I received it on time, I was shocked. Even more shocking to see the abundance of how many there were in in box. I ordered 2 boxes, so I’m set for a long while. I’m so pleased, as I am making mask for my frontline family members and can’t find all the supplies at this time.
