very disappointing
These DVDs have huge text written on the hub it's ugly and made the final product look very unprofessional. I had a large quantity to burn and print so the 50 set was the best value (for the verbatim). But considering the quality of the final product the value was lost. Several of the discs smudged after printing I had a few that didn't complete the burn verificatio...

why do I need these ?
In this age of streams and cheap usb flash drives why do I need these ? Mostly to make bootable OS install disks and small backups. These should last me a couple of years or more.

The Only DVD's I use.
I have been using Verbatim products for over 20 years. The only other brand I would use is Sony. ALL Other brands that I try I end up throwing away at least 4 or 5 out of 50. Years ago Verbatim quickly became known as the Quality Media among IT Pros.

So Far So Good...
So far I only burned one DVD from a MP4 video it went well I'll return after more burning to upgrade to 5 stars or lower if I experience any problems.

The DVD+R are ok but really did not work for my main purpose. I had made video using Windows Movie Maker which is a WMV file. I made copies of the video onto the DVD+R disks. They play the video on some Blu Ray DVD players but not all. Further they do not play in Mac/Apple computers as the movie was made with a Windows' file and I guess it is incompatible with Appl...
