Good quality paper.
I like the weight and quality of these pads and have tried different types of pens and pencils on it. Very little smear with a red Sharpie pen. However, all other types of pens, including Tru-Red jell pen did fine.
My only Pet peeve - the dark blue rule lines! They could be much lighter color, which would made the paper more pleasing. I looked but could not find anythi...

only lined on one side?
I was floored to find that these are only lined on one side. What? It's not "enviro" unless you can easily use both sides of a sheet!

Notepads finally found

Ampad Writing Pads
These pads have been great for my use to write letters and to keep lists. They were very reasonably priced and being ecologically friendly, I am pleased to know that I am helping the environment by using them.

Gentler on the environment than my purse
These are the best 100% post consumer recycled legal pads that I have found. But they shouldn't cost as much as they do.
