Staples-heavy duty 5/8 inch
I asked for the 3/4 inch staples but the stores were out so I got the next best size-the 5/8 inch staples. They worked well.

Staples not what they used to be
The original staples that I purchased about 20 years ago workded perfectly, however when I finally ran out and had to restock, the new staples will not penetrate like the old ones. In fact I cannot even use the new ones because they just bend and ruin my documents. I am forced to use alligator clips instead.

what a waste of money
I saw the ad for Swingline Heavy Duty staples and purchased them. Little did I know they were just regular staples in a wider format. The Swingline stapler that I own takes 800 series staples. It is very misleading for Staples to offer something that in no way measures up to their advertising. Never again

Heavy-Duty Staples
jammed my brand new staples stapler. these heavy-duty size staples apparently do not fit the slot to be pushed down. had to throw my brad new stapler in the trash out of disgust and disappointment! to unjam the stapler I unfortunately did some damage to the stapler making it useless. could not find instructions warning not to use "heavy-duty" staples.

these staples are the only staples that work with my stapler. I work in a warehosue and have to staple a lot of things. these staples go through several pages and I dont worry about any pages falling out

Great product
We have always used the speedpoint staples, and we staple a lot of papers in our work, they are consistently effective and a good value. I would recommend the Swingline Powereaze stapler to make them even easier to use.
