Printer requires cartridge replacement often
According to my experience laser printers can be used for a long time without cartridge change. But it doesn't work with Dell 1230c/1235cn Color Laser Printer. I decided to pay more for printer and spend less for cartridge. No way!!! After 1 month of use (and I dont print much at home) cartridge is already half empty. Good quality
Not much choice for alternatives, but consistently good quality over the year. It doesn't fade or stripe until the very end and a good shake and slap will usually yield a few more pages. Like all custom ink replacements it is, however, outrageously expensive.

Too Expensive But Works Well
The cost of toners is too expensive. I have wasted time attempting to find discount coupons and codes that may work. Dell prefers to kidnap you with having to use their exceptionally expensive toners. They could make more money on volume and not be in the economic difficulty they find themselves in, with the PC's and other components. They need to make a profit, but not...

Dell 1235cn Color Laser Printer
The Dell 1235cn Color Laser Printer is a good printer. The printing is clear and crisp, and the cartridges last a surprisingly long time. The copy and scan features are easy to use, although we do not utilize the FAX feature since we do not have a phone line available where the printer is located.

This cartridge was the easiest one to put in as well as the cleanest. Comes in a easy to open package so there's never any mess. After having tried other off brands, there's nothing like the real thing. Thank you, Dell!!!
