These are perfect to distribute to my students. The paper also tears cleanly from the top.

Poor design
The staples/glue holding the pad together at the top are set below the perforation line. This means not only can you never get a clean tear at the top of the page when removed but you also have that annoying excess jagged paper left at the top of the pad.

Flimsy!
The paper is okay but the cardboard backing too flimsy, I am sorry that I bought these (and they weren't the cheapest option, either).

I needed some I bought some but too expensive
I needed some of the small size legal pads so I bought some but I honestly thought they were too expensive.

Old School but they get the job done

Defective Pads
As best i can tell none of these pads are perforated at the top to facilitate sheet tear off. In my mind all the pads in the bundle are defective.
