Works well if you install it correctly.
The privacy filter has both a glare and non-glare slide, so if you want a "non-glare" you have to look before you install it that the non-glare side is facing out (towards you).
You should clean the screen that is going to be mounted to, don't want to tap any dust in between the two layers and also the adhesive strips will hold better. I have found that the double side...

Anti Glare Screen
Works very well for privacy and for eye protection. If you are standing beside it, it is hard for someone to see your screen. I bought it for the purpose of my eyes. The screen protection was an added benefit.

Don't look at my screen
I work in a setting where students feel the need to look at my screen all the time...even though it has nothing to do with what we are talking about. SO, this screen has been wonderful to hid my email or research or whatever I have pulled up on the monitor with this privacy screen.

3M 22 inch Monitor Privacy Screen
The way my office is set up and my computer is set up my screen shows to everyone that walks through my office. I am the boss and everyone needs to have privacy on their computers. My screen filter is a perfect fit and blocks anyone from seeing my computer screen while I am working as long as they are not directly behind me. I appreciated the adhesive also. Thanks!!

Privacy filter is doable for when people are beside monitor, but does not protect privacy if other people stand or sit behind you.

I like it. I had to cut it down to size. Could have sworn I had the right size but no matter. Be careful if you cut it down, has to be done in a certain way so the whole thing doesn't split. Does the job, protects your view when you have coworkers coming in and out all the time and some of the information you are viewing is confidential. Can't see it from the sides...

Works Great
This product works as described. View is not distorted in any way. Fits my 22" Dell monitor perfectly. I did have to turn the brightness up all the way on my screen, but that is not a big deal. You can see the adhesive strips along the sides, but I have gotten used to it...again, not a big deal.

Screens are private
I am not crazy about the adhesive or I would have given it 5 stars. You can sort of see the adhesive strips when working in white or black backgrounds.

Good product, provides security from angles of patient and other employees visuals, however I had to add extra tape that comes with the product to make it stick to monitor.

This privacy filter is great. You still have to be careful because at a certain angle (pretty much straight on) your screen can been seen by anyone, but the more of an angle that is viewed, the more protection this provides. Love this privacy filter!

Have purchased this item previously from another company and again now since this larger size for our monitors is now available through Staples for yet another individual. This item is wonderful as our offices are set up with cubicles and there's no way to position the screen to eliminate glare from the windows. This filter takes care of the glare issue.

Filter okay
Filter is not as dark as I expected. Still does the job, however, based on the item description I was actually expecting filter to be darker. I'm keeping it, since its better than not having any filter when you are in a crowded room of people.
