Filing cabinet was dented on the bottom making it.

4-Drawer Lateral File Cabinet
The delivery was completed without any problems. The delivery person was extremely helpful and had brought the 195 lb. file cabinet to the rear door. Unfortunately, he cannot make an inhouse delivery any longer. The cabinet was shipped with a lot of protection and had no scratches or dents. The later file has a scratch on it
I called Quill on 08/06/2025 to ask for a small discount because of the scratch, on one of the drawers, they were more than willing to help and give a better discount .

No Delivery Notification
I called Staples Customer Service at 9am the morning of the delivery to obtain delivery status and they advised they could not give me a narrower timeframe than 8 am to 5 pm due to the privacy of the delivery drivers. uh??? Not a great experience
The file cabinet was delivered to the wrong place but they did try to make that right. The experience with the various customer service reps was what I would call good customer service. Cabinet lock is broken
We love the cabinet in general, but it's brand new and the lock is broken. We were able to load files in it on the first day, but now the lock keeps catching on the second drawer and we can't get into the top drawer. We are requesting a replacement. Thank you.

NOT EASY TO OPEN
I would have expected, at this price point, that I would easily be able to open these file cabinets. They jam on the right side, and you have to play musical drawers to open them. Literally, open the bottom drawer a few inches to get the third drawer to open but then close the top drawer to get the bottom drawer to open....

Just right for my needs
This file cabinet came undamaged and was delivered by a friendly Staples delivery person. It locks securely and the drawers slide smoothly. The rails inside are adjustable based on what size folders you are using, and can be tricky to move but it's not difficult.
