Lots of learning fun
This is one of the best maths toys so far. There are so many ways it can be used. Iv been setting lots of challenges for my 5 year old daughter. I'll set a number on one side, with the disks she has to balance it out, sometimes she will start by putting her disks on random pegs but then she has to calculate the last one or two disks for it to balance, or I might limit h...

It's big!
I use this scale with our homeschool math curriculum (RightStart Math) for 1st grade, and it works very well for the math games involved in our lessons. It is very wide, and tall enough to dangle some of those small bathroom cups to measure and compare weights of odd shapes.
