Repurchase
This is the best cutter for accuracy. This was a repurchase to replace our 5 year old cutter that was finally beginning to dull. So good we bought the exact same one!

Good function but needs a couple of tweaks
Sturdy, and the basic fuctionality is great (it cuts well, good base with graduated markings).
BUT that plastic guard, not-so-much. The TINY spring-loaded plastic clips break at the slightest bump! I suggest a separate, hinged guard, or a clamp-style one.
I also suggest that the guard have a visible grid on it, so that positioning can be done visually.

Excellent Trimmer!!!
I like that the green safety guard is fixed in place. You can easily slide your stack of paper / card stock under it. It cuts like a dream. The last trimmer we had was the same brand however I believe they have improved the quality even more. Our first one was purchased in 2018 we finally wore the blade out in one area. It had seen a ton of work in a very busy church...

Worked great until it didn't
I purchased this product at the beginning of the school year for my students to use with science fair. It worked great until the hinge fell apart. I would be willing to buy a replacement hinge if there was one available.

Good quality.
The Westcott 12" CarboTitanum Bonded Guillotine Trimmer works perfectly in your office. Great for using for work purposes or craft. Cuts through 30 papers at a time like a breeze. Handle fits nicely in your hand. Also guard feature is nice. I really like the wood look on this. It is quite sturdy and durable.

The Perfect Guillotine Trimmer
I received this and got busy using it. I make greeting cards and cut my own card stock. I cut 12 at a time and it cut perfectly. Very sharp. The safety features are great. Locking blade, rail guard and finger rest is a must.. The guillotine handle is very easy to hold and non slipping. The grid is easy to read on wood tone board. So happy to own this.

Good Guillotine Trimmer
This does the job for anything within the 12" size range. The green little guard makes sure nothing is over 12", which is a little bit of downside in the way I cut. Doesn't mean it's not fantastic for under 12" , which it's totally fantastic for that. Cuts thru multiple layers and different materials very easily.

Works great!!
At first, wanted to get rid of the 'green plastic thing', but was 'not removable'. However, it did end up being useful in holding the paper down and keeping fingers farther from the SHARP slicer/blade. No struggle in pushing down the slicer/blade, really does cut (easily) 30 sheets of paper, liked how the measuring lines went the whole length and sat solid on the table ...

Great for projecrs
Use this mostly for projects and it works great. Cutting time is reduced significantly. It will cut through 10 sheets with ease. Sturdy handle and base make sure you don't slip when using it.

Never have used better.
I have been a crafter for many years and have used countless paper cutters. This one hands-down is far more superior to any of them.
