Purchased this to print on cardstock. This is vey slow and you can only use the manual feed tray.

One sided printer only
The Printer seems like it would be really helpful. Except that it doesn't do the things it claims to do. The print on both sides feature, will either print twice on the same side, OR flip the 2nd side upside down so you'd have to turn the page over completely to read it. It does not matter if you choose flip by Long Side or Short Side. Both do the same exact problem...

Love this printer!
Have had this model for years - just replaced one last month with the same model. The only problem I seems to be having is when printing in Windows 11 it sometimes puts out an error code if you try to print too quickly between items.

Economical Complete Business Solution
Brothers decision to allow OEM toner products is a key differentiator to the competition, especially HP and Canon. This product performs without issue and scanning speed is excellent. As a plus, the color coverage does not overutiluze the toner.

Envelopes do not print well.
overall +++ rating. Having trouble printing envelopes - they get crinkled in the machine - please help fix this issue!!!!

I've had lots of printers over the years; ink jets lasers, copiers, etc. Almost every brand and the Brother has been the most dependable.

YOU SUCK
Your tactics are SLEAZY to say the least I have 4 of your printer now and several over many years then out of nowhere both of my mfc-7860dw stop connecting to my wifi it can't be a coincidence especially after reading the reviews. YOU SUCK THANKS FOR WASTING MY MOST PRECIOUS ASSET. MY TIME.

Has trouble printing anything with a picture.
Printer tends to be slow when printing anything with pictures.

Brother MFC #8208
Disappointed that the back has to be open to do labels and specialty prints on thinker paper. This takes up another foot on my desk. Calibration needs to be done frequently when using specialty paper. Normal printing and 2-sided printing is great.

A diamond with one rough edge.
Extremely well crafted printer / scanner with good support. One area for improvement would be better software for windows 11. My setup is windows 11 native driver (for printing) and iPrint&Scan (for scanning) - with ZERO Brother drivers. This works great for me, but should be plug and play right out of the box.

Best Printer By Far
Great printer! I use it for my notary business with home loans.. I had one years ago with a dual tray. This one comes with only one tray, but I was able to buy the second tray which makes it complete for me.
I was once a GM for Staples and buying cartridges for a less expensive printer is where people go wrong.

Nice printer, software could be more user friendly
Printer seems to be pretty good after a month of use. Still getting used to the lag time as i changed over from a tank printer to this laser but it is defininately fast and prints very nice. One thing to note is i am still struggling with the scanner setup. I do a fair amount of scanning and it seems like a cumbersome process compared to what i am used to. I am hoping...

Outstanding Printer
For the past few years I have used this printer along with an HP 479. Both did everything I asked of them. The Brother printer has the unique ability to scan an ID both front and back and put on a single piece of paper. The only issue I have had is that the paper supply drawers do not accept envelopes.

Great Light Commercial copier scanner
Great personal or small office copier/scanner. We had 2 of these in our HOA office for over 6 years and never had issues. Ink cartridges last a long time and not too expensive to replace. Unfortunately we had to finally replace as repair was too expensive and with past success we purchased again.
