High res, low refresh
Works great! Only thing is that I can't get the high refresh rate as I would with a DisplayPort cable. I do get the high resolution of a DisplayPort cable though. 60 Hz refresh rate with this cable.

Didn't work at all, very disappointed with them.
They would not work at all. had to go to another place to get some that did work!

Bad Experience
Not Good, Tried to run HDMI out to Dell monitor with DP only. worked 1 out of 10 times. Then once it worked, if the computer went to sleep it would no longer see the monitor. Tech support said it must be the cable, so ordered another one. Same thing. Replaced the mother board in the PC = Same result. returned monitors for replacement with both DP and HDMI inputs. Cable not needed
According to dell sales person I needed this cable to connect to my monitor. It was not needed as a short adapter cable was provided with the computer to mate with my existing HDMI cable.

Bad cables
These cables didn’t work right out of the box. I ended up returning them and going to my local office supply store. Waste of time getting them from Dell.

Works Instantly on Plug in! Got it Fast!
This was our third attempt to get a working cable. One from local store (more expensive than this cable but didn’t work, and other from convenient large online source that was less expensive but didn’t work. The Dell cable worked instantly upon plug in after days of frustrating waiting to use 4k 28” monitor. Save yourself aggravation if you need a Dell laptop compatible...
