Worth the cost
I ordered this cable assuming that the monitor did not come with one. The monitor did come with one however that one did not work. This cable does feel like it is of higher quality and I enjoy using my screen at 165hz.

Mediocre sales support
The product I received was OK, but when speaking with the sales rep I was not offered the option of a 10-foot cable. As it turned out, that's what I needed, so I haven't used the cable I bought from Dell; instead, I ordered one with a 10-foot cable (and higher quality) from a different source. Cord if fine
The cord was fine it just wasn’t what I needed. After chatting with a rep online he said this would work for a second monitor. The problem was the monitor did not have a DP input. I needed a DP to HDMI.

I believe that there was nothing wrong with the cable. My monitor needed something different.
The cable didn't work. Dell gave me a refund on the cable.
