You will not be disappointed
Used for router only. I have used Tripp-Lite products for years and in my opinion they offer the best features, performance and quality for the price. All my computer hardware is protected by Tripp-Lite products.

Wr plan to purchase two more units very soon.
This was an easy install and equally easy to set up. A manual test by unplugging it convinced us that we had made the right selection for home office. We will purchase at least 2 more for other areas needing protection.

Affordable UPS for Home Network
Seems to work very well however it has a strong chemical smell, that is taking a while to dissipate.

Exceptional Value
Practical and effective. Nothing fancy, but who cares when it sits on the floor behind the desk. My third UPS to accompany about one dozen Isobars, that remain the best surge protectors. Period.

I would buy this product again.
Improved from the previous version. The outlets are now much easier to insert and remove plugs. They appear to be separate piece parts rather than directly molded into the case as before. There is no longer a user-initiated battery self-test. I assume it continuously monitors the battery charge and will report a failure when the time comes.

Good backup unit
We have had lots of power outages and blips since we bought this and this unit has performed very well. Router has not dropped connection

I just purchased this a week ago so it will take time but
Lost a computer to electrical surge and this will prevent that. Also the ability to save information once the electricity goes off is a great help.

This is a great UPS and recommend it to everyone!
Powerful yet affordable! We use our AVR700U to run 2 desktop computers with monitors and attached laser printer. Our office is in Florida where we get frequent lightning storms daily. Tripplite UPS's help us maintain our office productivity during the numerous power outages as a result of these daily storms....

Good UPS! First time trying one instead of the competition!
Great UPS! I use this to protect a Mac, monitor, and keep them backed up. The laser printer is on the surge only side.

Excellent protection and I would purchase again!
I use this device in Florida to protect my important electronics from lightening strikes, Frequent electrical storms with power dips and surges occur here in Central Florida due to these pop up storms. With both surge protection and battery backup protection I fear these storms less.

Minor problem, but excellent customer service!
While we haven't used it very long, there was a really bad smell coming from the unit, even before it was connected to the wall outlet. When first connected, the unit was left overnight to double check everything. The smell was even more pronounced the next morning and hasn't totally disappeared.

AVR is a must to have
I use several Tripplite AVR UPS units. Our power company delivers rather poor voltage regulation and we have lost a number of computers and video equipment over the years until We started with these AVR units. Years since a failure. I like being able to change the batteries out with the Tripplites.

Malfunctioned within a year but excellent customer service.
The battery malfunctioned after only a year and the device gave no warning, it just stopped working. However customer support was excellent and got me up and running again.
