Unpacked, hooked up, just clicks with blue light flashing, cd tray will not open
Have sent back for refund
Tried on 2 different computers

Nice Little Blu-Ray Writer!
This Blu-Ray writer is great! It reads and writes to DVDs and CDs as well. I've so far used it to write to CDs. Haven't tried writing to DVD or Blu-Ray yet, but it reads my Blu-Ray discs fine.

Great "Portable" Blu-ray Media Drive
The drive was well packaged and easy to set up. I haven't installed the included software package, because I didn't need it. But it is nice to have for those just starting out with Blu-ray media. Buffalo BRXL Disk Drive Additional Functional Use
I was able to put six-hour long locally developed movies on a 25GB Blu-ray disk with room to spare for moving them all together for later playback.

Returned item
I was told it was compatible with windows 10 on my Dell laptop but that turned out to be wrong. Could not install software, could not download software from manufacturer website. Returned the item to Dell.

Some software issues running on older computers need to be resolved runs OK on my new computer but my old computer with the old processor it does not function correctly

New disc player/burner
So happy to see this has a robust build. The disc player that came with the new computer tower had an underwhelming build. This unit looks like it will last a long time.
