Works like a charm under Windows 11
No need to install any drivers, they are installed automatically in Windows 11 and my third screen now works with the correct resolutions already configured.
Once connected to the computer, you have to wait 1 or 2 minutes before everything is correctly configured though.

After year and a half it works sporadically
Bought this year and a half ago and it worked great for 18 months and now it works sporadically. Sometimes the computer recognizes it and other times it doesn't. I've downloaded the latest driver and it still works sporadically.

4th Monitor on Laptop
It was hard to get a direct answer about how to get a 4th monitor to work on an intel based laptop.
The problem is that the Intel CPU only allows 3 displays, even if you have a dedicated GPU in the laptop because the GPU isn't a full gpu, but just an extra chip that runs through the Intel CPU.

It works fine obviously if drivers are always update.
I have had this adapter since three years ago. The only problem sometimes are the updates but works fine. StarTech is definitely an excellent brand for me.

I've been using the adapter for a few months now and it's been working fine. I wish it had support for Linux/Ubuntu.

Upgraded from the older VGA version
Well what can I say about this product? Simply that Startech have once again delivered a great device that gives the ability to easily add extra monitors to a laptop or desktop. I had previously been running the older VGA versions for a number of years and I have to say they worked flawlessly.

Does exactly what I needed! This is excellent
I have a laptop with just VGA and HDMI. I have two external monitors, one has DVI and DisplayPort, but no HDMI (it's a 1200 res unit), and my other unit has HDMI and displayport but no DVI. Well worth the investment
After downloading the software this devise work exactly as promised. Able to stream any content from your laptop or desktop via HDMI cable to any TV with HDMI inputs. Good picture quality. I would recommend this product.
