Nice product
Did everything I expected of it except run my pellet stove. Not blaming TL for that as the manufacturer recommended it. I had to switch to a sine wave inverter to get it to start up. Going to use the TL on my freezer instead.

I would not buy this again sent it back
Doesn't come with everything that is needed like cable wires to connect to a battery

Home Internet, NVR, Kitchen Lighting for 8 hours UPS
Product works and would serve to extend UPS/backup power for hours depending on the size of battery installed and load. Typically, a 100 AHr deep cycle AGM battery would be a great fit. Charges at up to 6A. Absorb to 14.4V and then floats at 13.5V (not adjustable). Routers and IT devices seem to buzz but accept the power. LED lights will flicker a bit and get hot while ...

Good function, but bad noise
This product is excellent, but attention should be paid to how noisy the fan is. An extra few dollars toward a bigger silent fan would be a gamechanger.

Great product.
I am using this charger/ inverter as a UPS. I hooked it up to an old car battery to make a UPS that will last a long time. Great product.

I would buy this product again
Appears to be well constructed. We still need to install this equipment to operate a pellet stove when the power goes out.

Basement Watchdog Replacement
Purchased to replace a Basement Watchdog setup that ruined batteries because of their cheap charger. Works great, exactly what I was looking for!

R goecommended by Quadra-Fire and Harmon
Quadra-Fire recommends this product as an alternate power source for their Trekker pellet stove. I paired mine with a deep cycle high capacity marine RV battery and expect to get eight hours of run time in the event of a power failure. An item like this is necessary if you own a pellet stove. Check with your manufacturer to ensure this will be compatible with your stove...

Great little Power/Charger when the lights go out.
i bought the 700W PowerVerter APS700HF to use for my pellet stove if the power fails. I tested the unit when I got it and all worked well. I am upgrading the batteries and should be all set when the lights go out, I will still have heat, thanks to the PowerVerter.

Great for temporary power in work trailer
I set up a UPS system for my University's Mars rover team's work trailer. This allowed us to keep fans, lights and tools working int he remote Utah desert for hours, and quickly recharged the battery bank when power was available.
Make sure to install a fuse or breaker on the 12v side to prevent damaging your batteries, or make sure to get high current (deep cycle) bat...

I own 2 of these and will be buying a 3rd soon
As power outages become more frequent, these become more needed. One is on the aquarium. it provides power to the pump, filter and heater. Without it, a long outage could mean death to your fish. When power is restored, it automatically switches and recharges the battery. The other is on a terrarium, keeping the tortoise warm when needed. If you look around your home, y...

This is one of many items we use in the field.
We have many units working and have been very happy with them. No failures so far and that's great when running a WISP.

I may purchase another one for my RV.
I used this for a small, reasonably priced back-up power system for a few outdoor security lights at work. The included plugs made installation a breeze. I like the LED's that give load and battery state of charge indication. It has performed exactly as it was presented by Tripplite. I will use these again in the future for our other buildings.
