About this product
The Speck StandyShell case transforms from protecting a handheld iPad into a hands-free media viewer via kickstand that deploys with the push of a button. Pushing the button again and pressing the kickstand flat transforms the StandyShell back into a flat-back case that is comfortable for handheld use in landscape or portrait orientation. The StandyShell has a tough, custom-fitted polycarbonate hard shell with soft, patented impact geometry perimeter protection to safeguard against drops, dents, and scratches, and has up to 4' drop protection. Never fear: you can always rock your extra tech with Speck. The StandyShell has a bungee loop to secure your Apple Pencil while in use, and flattens out when Pencil is not being held. It also has a built-in antimicrobial treatment that delivers up to a 99% reduction in stain and odor-causing bacteria on the case, creating a cleaner surface.
