This SV565UTPU USB/VGA over Cat5 UTP KVM console extender from StarTech is a cost-effective way to convert existing standard KVM units into remotely accessible hardware. It maintains all network security with long distance local access without exposing over IP. It offers broad support for newer USB keyboards, mice and even most combination or wireless configurations. This console extender allows you to switch between workstation view and KVM view at the remote location, eliminating the need for a dedicated remote console.
