About this product
The Vertiv Avocent AutoView 3216 KVM over IP switch provide local and remote management and control of up to 16 servers from a single console. Supporting up to two local users and one remote user, this rackmount KVM switch is flexible, secure and easy to use. The Vertiv Avocent AV3216 KVM over IP switch delivers enterprise-class performance at a small business price. Features virtual media for enabling out-of-band file transfers and OS patch deployments, as well as support for two factor authentication using smart cards or Common Access Cards (CAC) readers. Session sharing allows for diagnostic or multi-user viewing from anywhere in the world. This solution also includes local USB peripheral support, support LDAP user authentication, and AES encryption.

- Resolutions supported: local 16:9 widescreen, up to 1680 x 1050 or 4:3 standard, up to 1920 x 1080; remote 16:9 widescreen, up to 1680 x 1050; 4:3 standard, up to 1600 x 1200
- Virtual media support so administrators can attach storage media for out-of-band file transfers and OS patch deployments
- Configure your system name and select your servers from the convenient OSD
- Uses standard CAT-5 cables
- BIOS-level access ensures connection to the attached servers regardless of the health or type of operating system
- Compatible with Avocent DSView 4 management software for a centralized and secure management of IT assets
- Included in the box: KVM over IP switch, rack mount bracket kit, AC power cord, quick installation guide
