This is a great, inexpensive way to have the names of prominent workers at our event recognized; however, the last time I used them, I had to tape each clasp insert over the holes to prevent them from popping back out, which had happened to many of us the year prior, causing the badges to fall to the ground. If there is a way to prevent this, then this product would be perfect. I will still buy them anyway, but many other people might not.

There's no easy solution to labeling people at conferences. People seem to prefer these to the kind that pin through your clothes, or sticky ones that may leave a residue. There's enough room to put a small logo and then the name as large as possible for all to see. But I can't run the inserts through my printer. It's so powerful it rips the inserts apart at the perforations. So I have to print on coverstock and then cut them with scissors or with an x-acto knife. This takes up valuable time, and money is wasted on the included inserts which don't get used. [...] The metal ends of the elastic that the badges hang from don't always stay in the holes. Most people can't figure out how the elastic and the badge go together anyway, but once they do they have all sorts of ways to get the two to stay together. I get them back taped up or the elastic knotted up in the back. And the spare elastics knotted up in a bag. Sometimes they hang too low to be read when sitting down. And they end up in your plate during the luncheon. No one likes wearing name badges and if it slips off too often they just won't wear them. So, yeah, far from perfect, but the best solution I've found so far, short of using a thick black marker across the forehead.

Comments about Avery® Top Loading Neck Hanging Style Name Badges:

I like the hanging tags, but I had to put tape over the metal tabs to keep the cords from falling out. Also, please bring back the full page inserts. I couldn't get the template to work with my printer for the half-page size and had to buy separate inserts. Now I have a huge stack of half sheets left over.

Comments about Avery® Top Loading Neck Hanging Style Name Badges:

I've used these name tags quite often for our church group functions and they look great! The only two problems I've had have been mentioned quite a few times before... the elastic strings DO NOT stay put (a permanently fastend tag would be great!) and the 3-to-a-page inserts DO NOT work with the Avery template. I had to give up and use card stock and cut them out with a paper cutter. Please bring back the 6-to-a-page inserts. Otherwise, these are so much better than the pin or sticky style tags.

Comments about Avery® Top Loading Neck Hanging Style Name Badges:

These are the best nametags. They are sturdy and do not harm the clothing of those wearing the tag. Only problem is that it is hard to find replacement inserts. You can reuse the plastic holders, but I have not been able to find anyone who carries just replacement inserts.

It did the job. The only compliant is that the paper tends to feed tilted which caused you to discard some the name tags. Also, the tags are expense.
