    This is an excellent and durable product, if your having trouble sharpening pencils with it there's a very good chance you pencils are made in china and are of poor quality. only buy U.S. made pencils for the best results. Example; Dixon Ticonderoga or Sanford brands.

    I am a teacher, and our school has one of these in each class throughout the school. Not one of them works right. They sharpen unevenly, or just eat the pencil. Very, very cheaply made also. I can't believe that we got one for each classroom. Aren't these actually tested before being sold? and the fact that every single one does not work... That is horrible.

        I am a teacher, and our school has one of these in each class throughout the school. Not one of them works right. They sharpen unevenly, or just eat the pencil. Very, very cheaply made also.               I do maintenance for a high school. This product used to be a great sharpener until they changed the blades. Now it just eats pencils or sharpens unevenly. I'm looking for a different sharpener.

                This sharpener never worked properly, from the day I bought it. Unless you were extremely careful, it would sharpen the pencils off-center, which would leave you with a very uneven pencil lead. Then, after only two years of use, it broke. This is an extremely poor product.
