      I'm wondering why it says to dilute - it seems to have the consistency of regular dish detergent right out of the bottle. Is dilution meant for other uses? Is it required or can you use it full strength?

      • A:

        This product is meant to be diluted at 1 ounce per 4 gallons. By diluting the product it should work just as good as if it were not diluted and will last a lot longer. Diluting is not required if you find a concentration that works better for you. Just be sure to rinse well.

        When Staples Glisten Dish Soap states that is dilutes at one ounce per four gallons, that means that you add one ounce of the detergent to four gallons of water. There are 128 ounces in a gallon, so this would make 512 gallons of diluted dish soap.
