I own 2 for my home office. The buttons are large and so is the screen display. Perfect for those of us whose eyes are not what they use to be. Because of the large buttons I am able to enter calculations very quickly. I keep batteries in it at all times so I can unplug it and leave the room at any time if necessary. This is not a compact machine, nor would I call it portable.

The pricing at Staples was extraordinary. My only small complaint is that it is a bit slow. However at the price point charged that's not even a complaint. If you can buy it when it is on sale then you will be more than pleased with it's capabilities, construction et al.

This was much flimsier than the machine it replaced. The print function is very noisy and slow. Tape / paper does not tear off cleanly or easily. It also seems slower than what I'm accustomed to. It was fairly inexpensive and therefor I'm not too badly disappointed - it's too bad I couldn't have 'taken it for a test drive' before I purchased it.

This was actually purchaced so I could prove out the amounts I was putting on the order forms. Tha hand held calc's just did not help me out like that.

  This calculator is designed for use with the Casio IR-40T for replacement ink, but Staples also offers the compatible Dataproducts R1427 Calculator Ink Roller and the Porelon PR-42 Calculator Ink Roller.

  The kind of paper is standard receipt paper at the size of 21 1/4 inches. This machine can replay back the calculations and therefore create a duplicate.
