Dixon pencils are an economic way to give students the opportunity to stay on task even when they forget to bring a pencil to class. I do not make it a classroom management issue, I simply keep them on hand when a writing tool is needed. The high school students truly appreciate the pencils and they can use them throughout the day if they need to or they can simply return them to me at the end of the class period. Egad, even some of them have taken them onto a golf course of all places! A few of my students are poor and this simple jesture providing a great tool when they need it is a great classroom management help and the students really do appreciate using this fine product. My students are worth it. Now to get some economic erasers!

This is great for the kids who forget their pens/pencils in high school. They hate using them and will give them back, most of the time. A box will last a year or more. They do learn that they need to bring their own.
