This smelled like mildew when I first got it. The smell disappeared after a few months. I've had this for about 6 months now and it has fallen apart. The seams have opened and the insides are falling out.

As with the items in prior reviewers, my first one started leaking at the seam shortly after I bought it. I was able to staple the leak closed and continue to use it on another computer. It is, however, the most comfortable pad I have used, and I think the Microban feature is useful. The prior reviews are older, and I am hoping the company fixed the problem. I would not recommend this to a friend, because I would not want them to run the risk that it will fall apart if the problem has not been solved.

This terrible, terrible product should be thrown directly into the trash.

I have bought SEVERAL of these because they are simple and good looking and -- on day 1, at least -- work well. EACH ONE has fallen apart in less than a month. I have returned them for new ones -- the new ones fall apart too, no matter what. NEVER AGAIN.

I really hope this company goes bankrupt. It's completely disgusting in an age when even honest businesses can't stay afloat that companies like this who make complete junk and charge a premium for it are able to keep going.

I eagerly look forward to reading about Fellowes filing for bankruptcy in the paper.

Meanwhile, how hard can it be to make one of these that doesn't competely fall apart and spew silicone glop everywhere? We can put a man on the moon and do open-heart surgery, for god's sake!

I had it for two weeks and it started leaking gel all over the place. Don't buy this one.
