Get great value with the HP 05X!

The convenience of not having to continually think about replacing the toner cartridge is FANTASTIC. The cartridges last more than twice as long as the 05A, saving me time and trips to the store.
However, the inconvenience of my local store NOT CARRYING the high capacity toner nearly offsets the convenience of infrequent cartridge changes. I REALLY want Staples to carry the product in its local store. I'm unhappy that the HP LaserJet P2055dn was sold to me (I bought 2!) because of the availability of the high capacity cartridge, yet I was NOT told that my local store wouldn't carry the cartridge. I'm currently considering moving my business to a competetor solely because the competition has considered carrying the high capacity cartridge in stock. If they decide to carry it, I will move ALL my office supply business to them and will leave Staples.

It is pricey but I like using the HP Toner when I can afford it! I use my Staples reward and their coupons and always check their e-mail adds to save money ! I use it in my business and I have never had a problem with my Documents being smugged, very clean printing !

      The new HP printers are pretty smart: they recognize when you put in someone else's toner cartridge.

      I tried an aftermarket replacement toner. It didn't come close to the genuine article. Sometimes you have to bite the bullet and go for the reliable product.

            I bought the 05X for my P2055dn and now it won't duplex print correctly. The back side is printed reverse image.Also, the print queue is messed up and the final page is never printed, but then gets printed when I put in the next job. Anyone seen this.
