I use this toner cartridge for printing invoices for our small business. I don't keep track of how many print jobs I get out of each cartridge, but I do know that it lasts for atleast the advertised 3500 pages. I would definitely recommend this to another small business or someone who likes professional printing for personal use.

My cartridges never seem to last very long. It is very easy to check the cartridge life at any point. Just press the Print button on the front panel. My current cartridge lasted 1670 print sides.

Beyond that, it's a solid printer and very reliable duplexing. If cartridge money is no object and you want a good duplexer, this is a nice choice.

One other thing: I left something on top that blocked the output and it took about an hour to unjam it from the rear (just before it feeds to the top). There isn't a good mechanism for clearing rear jams.

I'm a court reporter and use a printer every single day in my business.....a LOT. I have never ever had a problem with these toner cartridges and they seem to last a VERY long time. I just can't say enough about them...I LOVE THEM! The only thing that may be a negative is the price. These are very pricey toner cartridges and I wish that the price would eventually come down.....but I'll still keep getting them regardless of how much they cost me.....I love them that much! I get a lot of life out of such a little cartridge :-)

  When you're done using the cartridge, Lexmark has a program wherein you can send the cartridge back to them (using a prepaid label included in the package) and they will then recycle the cartridge for future use. I think the return program allows them to offer these cartridges at a lower price than they would normally. Hope this helps!
