Q: Is the large thumb key programmable? Does the scroll click like a regular scroll? Can the scroll also be clicked (pushed down) and programmed? Asked on 10/14/2010 by Anonymous Know the answer? Answer this question 3 answers A: The scroll can be used as a regular scroll with clicks, and also as a "hyper-fast" smooth scrolling (good for flying thru long documents or long web pages). These settings can be turned on/off back & forth via the switch below the scroller. And of course the scroll wheel can also be used as a clickable button. In fact, I think every single mouse out there can do that. Answered on 1/16/2011 by Sam from Spring Valley, NY A: Depends on the mouse. Look in the control panel and see if the mouse is listed under "mouse". If it is, it will show you what can be programmed. I have found that only microsoft makes mice that can be programmed to open programs or excel speadsheets or word docs, etc. I have a MS wireless mouse 5000 and it does have prgramable buttons. If you don't have a microsoft mouse, google your mouse and see what capabilities it has. Answered on 10/19/2010 by mj from NJ A: Yes. When using the logitech software, all of the buttons can be programmed to do different things. Yes, the wheel clicks, and free spins. It's a simple push of the selector button to go back and forth. Yes, the wheel is also a button you can push on. Answered on 2/8/2011 by Virtualbum from St George, UT
Q: Does this mouse come made for left-handed users? Asked on 8/2/2010 by ijisa from Emeryville CA Know the answer? Answer this question 2 answers A: Currently it is not available as a left handed mouse. Answered on 8/17/2010 by Customer Care from Staples A: It seems that it is definitely designed with right-handed users in mind, due to the contours and curves. I have never seen a left-handed version online or in the store, and I occasionally check because my wife is a lefty. You may have to check out a different model, which is a shame because this one is outstanding in every way. Answered on 10/7/2010 by Evoic from Orange County, CA
Q: Is this mouse usable on a desktop and a laptop? Asked on 6/18/2010 by sally from cleburne tx Know the answer? Answer this question 3 answers A: Yes. THere's a tiny bluetooth receiver that plugs into a USB port. The mouse itself runs on two AA batteries. Sizsewise, it's larger than a true "portable" mouse, but smaller than a full desktop mouse. Answered on 6/21/2010 by fussnfeathers from Vvermont A: All mice are useable on a laptop and desktop - if it says "notebook" mouse, it just means it's smaller. Answered on 6/22/2010 by Amanda from Alex Bay, NY A: YES! Answered on 9/20/2010 by joe01880 from Boston MA
